The Upper mount, part of our AR 15 accessories, is machined from synthetic, non-marring polymer, providing added support inside and out for distributing loading during repairs. Ball detent pins securely hold the upper via forward and rear take down points. Vertical pins maintain the dust cover in a horizontal position, facilitating easy assembly and disassembly of ejection port parts. It is machine-cut to allow the HK416 dust cover vertical pin and forward assist retention pin to free fall into the parts pocket. This design securely holds the upper, making repairs on optics, forward assist, and dust cover seamless.
